IMO

Agreed! (Even worse, IMHO), it's pretty much the equivalent of saying "Please don't call me on my opinions."

Drives me crazy...

IMO, Bokeh fanboys like me myself, personally like to make phone calls where you press 2 for espanol in America. I occasionally look for sustenance, but need to go the ATM and enter my PIN to get money out.

You wanna know which word I really cannot stand?

Bijou.

Yes, it comes from the french word Bijouterie, but people do not even know that where I live. They just call any and all accessories, Bijou. Not only Earrings and necklaces, but nails and nuts and bolts, Teleconverters batteries and eyecups, etc.

Wasnt meant to offend, if it does I will delete, just stating a funny fact I see almost every day. The area I live in is 99.9% English speaking, but when I make a call I almost always hear that phrase.

I really shouldn't talk, I can't speak English very well myself.

I don't bother with all of that... as soon as I hear the 'auto voice' I start pushing zero until I get a real person..

I hate the work basically. It is used all the time around here(Kentucky) and it drives me crazy. Why? Well, basically it means that you think I am an idiot and you must break it down into simple terms that an idiot like me can understand.

"a bit soft" (but it has nice bokeh, IMHO). Sorry, I use that IMHO too much myself, basically. Good idea for a thread (oops, I bet some people hate that phrase too).

I didn't hate this word prior to another thread on this forum but I have a new hatred for seeing "distracting" used as CC. If you can't think of anything else to say about someone's photo other than to say, this hand or that hot spot is distracting then please don't post. You're not being constructive with your critique.

That was theraputic.

You could always say, 12 ounce, 16 ounce or 20 ounce?

When you say medium to they ask if you mean grandé?

Yeah, and they're not not even consistent: short, tall....then it goes, grande and venti. How stupid is that!

I get bothered by the misuse of words...

Example: your, you're...Their, there, they're

On the other hand, English is not an easy language, if you are not born into it.

I agree. One that gets to me is the confusion of then and than... as in someone saying "I like this one better then that one."
