I thought my first post on these forums should be made here so that you all know where my photography interests lie. As you can see from my photos, I am interested in rallying, particularly the World Rally Championship. I've taken my camera to the rallies in Sanremo and Monte Carlo, as well as my home event, Wales Rally GB. I've also been to a few national rallies as well as a couple of British Touring Car Championship events. I got my Canon EOS 10D last June and have tried to get as much use out of it as possible.

When I'm not taking pictures of rally cars, I also like to do some landscape photography. I recently went out to take pictures after it had been snowing. The results weren't all that great, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. It's nice to take pictures in strange lighting, especially at dawn and dusk.

I use Webshots (external link) to share my photos with the world. For a reasonable annual subscription I can store up to 3000 images at 2400 pixles. The albums are all categorised (although some members ignore that, much to my annoyance!) and there's a wealth of quality pictures from people all over the world. My albums are located here (external link).

Please let me know what you think. :)

Nice pictures. :)

Judging by your Brands Hatch and Oulton Park BTCC shots you must have been standing right next to me. I was the bloke wearing the red Ferrari jacket  ;)

Spooky,

Looking at the Day 1 shots of the San Remo 2002, I reckon I was standing about 15 foot to your left and maybe a little higher on SS2. I missed the first few cars through and got there just as Burns came through.  I didn't make day 2, too much drink.

I, however, don't remember what I was wearing.

Nice shots by the way, must get around to getting all my rally stuff online at some point.

Cheers

Ian

Day 2 was perhaps the best as we were at the Colle d'Oggia hairpin. I was stood right at the corner, as you will have seen in my photos. The WRC TV guys set up on the hairpin and myself and my friends were seen on the TV coverage as Colin McRae got totally sideways. Robbie Head made reference to our "flags from Lanarkshire".

Even more strange, we all must have been within a few feet at Oulton Park. The 'sandwich' shot from my perspective -
