I am looking at the MPE-65 Macro lens and thinking of giving it a go. I checked the Archive to see if there was any threads and surprised am I that there is none. So if any owners ( or former owners) of the MPE-65 Macro lens can share some exceptional or just acceptible shots from their lens it would help a lot. Thank you.

If I were a betting man, I'd say you could search for all threads started by this gentleman, and that would give you a pretty good starting point.

I'm no macro expert, but I'd love to see shots too. My understanding is that this lens is extremely tough to use. It has a super short working distance, it's tough to light, it has a razor thin DOF at all apertures, it's hard to meter and of course it's probably hard to think of interesting picures on that scale.

Anybody who has one and get's neat pictures....post them so we can be impressed!
