I am very new to this type of photography, (BW artistic) so please C&C as much as you can. I am trying to decide if this image works or not, i like how it came out, but i am biased. So please tell me what you think, image was shot in color under natural light, and converted in CS2

thank you for taking the time to look.....

OK...41 views and not one person could say anything. How i am supposed to learn anything if no one comments. I know that i don't post in this section very often, but that is no reason for people to not comment.

I did a lot of work on this image and i am curious if any one likes it, or if it is just a snap shot.

I think the dark diagonal background detracts a little from the image, but the detail and contrast a nice.

I'm also new to this one, but maybe if i saw more of the fingers and less palm...
But then the point of experimental is to experiment.

I was looking at the BG and i think that it does distract, maybe i will experiement with making it all black, or all white,
thank you for the comments Ianfp

Thank you Johan,
I am very new to trying this type of photography, but i wan't to learn as much as i can about all different aspects of the art. I was attempting to focus more on the dry cracked and peeling skin of the models (my wife) palms. i will try some other compositions and see what come of it,
thank you again for your comments.
