A few pictures from the 2007 WRC in Norway, which proved to be quite a bit harder to photograph as it was snowing 95% of the time.

Comments welcomed

Norway is gorgeous. I had a chance to go there while I was in the miliary. We went skiing and it was awesome.

Oh by the way great pictures.

IMHO, #1 has too many wires and bits of tree in it. The others are great but #3 is the best. I love the way the snow coming up from the left of the car (our right) conveys the sideways motion.

Good job!

Kevin.

I think Rob was trying to point out the difficulty in gaining a good vantage point in #1. As it looks like some eager flag holders were over anxious with their flag bearing duties.

Hi Kevin

Pic 1 was included to show what the car was in pic 2. There's too much clutter as you say and was only included as a reference, and Dandaman was right about the flag wavers, there pretty much everywhere overseas. I took the shots in portrait as the car that was supposed to come through was a Skoda and i wanted to include the flags in the shot, but then the evo turned up at full pelt and didn't give me the time or opportunity to go back to landscape.

Rob

nice seeing the pictures after watching the show on tv last night - have taken some rally pictures once - it was great fun - these are in a somewhat different league though, lol

I thought #1 was probably just to set the scene. Given the explosive result in #2, I wouldn't be too disappointed that it wasn't a Skoda! It's a dramatic shot and you wouldn't have been able to tell it was a Skoda anyway, if he'd taken the same line. ;)

Kevin.
