This was one of my first shots with my rebel xt. I was experimenting with different settings all in manual, I was also trying to pan with them.

Hope you don't mind, I took a stab at it because it seemed a bit flat to me.

Yes that looks better, did you use levels adjustment or saturation adjustment in new layer?
