I think somehow my camera is broke ... the pictures used to look good.
Now:

IMG NOTICE: [NOT AN IMAGE URL, NOT RENDERED INLINE]

Has anybody seen this problem before ... or at least know what the problem is ??
This has happened suddenly ... and I never dropped it or anything.
Yesterday the pictures were fine ... now ...

It seems some jpeg coder error or something ... the view is ok on the LCD ... but the picture comes out like this. Films work ok.

Can this be a FW problem ... is there any way to rewrite the FW ??

Maybe you shouldn't be trying to take pictures through your venetian blinds

Seriously, I haven't a clue what's wrong, but it sure doesn't look good.

Thanks, that seems to be the problem … bad CCD connection.
I bought the camera during a trip to the US ... but I don't live there.
Should I be sending mine there? Do they have some sort of jurisdiction rules?

I have to send it somewhere abroad anyway since there isn't a Canon service in my country.

If your paperwork all says it was bought in the US, that's probably he easiest way to go. But you'll want to call or e-mail them first to sort everything out, and be sure to mark it as "euipment being returned for repair".
