Thanks David. No, I've never really seen much difference with the 1.4x on. The 2.0x makes a difference though, as well as losing the AF.

I noticed a few of you have used this lens too... will I notice a HUGE difference? And will I miss the 200-300mm? I guess I could solve this with the 1.4x though.
