Are these straight from the camera if so what Picture Style are you shooting in? Tripod? Handheld? IS on or off? Any Post Processing for the sharpness?

Thanks, Jon I've got the sharpness slider on my 40D set two notches up from standard, and after scaling the photos down in Photoshop I apply a 100% 0.3 pixel unsharp mask before uploading them to the web.

Thanks, Jon I shoot Standard Picture Style jpegs w/ sharpness bumped from the normal 3 to 4. That's all I do with this lens, and it produces great shots. All of my pictures have been handheld with IS on. The nicest thing about this len is the colors and just woderful contrast in all the pics.

I'm also shooting with 24-105mm IS at the moment until I can get this lens but not yeilding great results as seen on this thread.
