Scrumhalf Cream of the Crop More info | Jul 02, 2013 10:51 | #4922 Depends on how dark it is in the church. The lens has IS, so that should help. You have a 6D, so bump up the ISO to get decent shutter speed. Sam

Jul 02, 2013 11:29 | #4923 I have a 60D. It's ok at high iso but anything above 1600 and it's noticeable. Hopefully I'll upgrade to a 6D before the wedding. 6D, 70D, Pancake lens, Nifty Fifty, Sigma 50 Art, Canon 135LL IS, YN560 III

I have done that with 7D, which is terrible for high ISOs compared to 6D. The results were pretty good, I think my pics were better than the photographers'.

Cant rely on a single camera with a telephoto lens for weddings. I tried the 70-200 for a wedding before (as a guest) and i got beautiful images with it but was often blocked by people who had no idea they were even blocking me because of the distance i had to stand. I mostly follow how my 3 year old daughter was amazed about all animals. Some were funny, some were scary. But most of them were very cute.
