Thanks Mitch; with the images you are always presenting here on the forum, I don't think you need it.

Very nice series here...first Spoonbill is nicely posed and great perch. The second Cormorant with the Wing Stretch is great and I like the behaviour you captured in the last photo...very nice!

I especially like the detail in the top feathers of the Cormorant. Number 5 almost looks like it was shot in a studio - guess those clouds paid off!

Beautiful photos! Amazed that you can use as slow a shutter speed as the data shows. What head and support? Or do you bench press 400+

Very nice series here Kidd, they are all great, but I really like what you did with the cormorants in the bad light, well done.

Wow, nice series indeed. We have the same birds in area's around here, but I haven't been to the one area the Roseate spoonbills all hang out at.

Excellent series of shots, my favorite would have to be the Kingfisher. It is a beautiful capture.

Love that kingfisher shot. They're so hard to get close to.
The other shots are wonderful too. Nice work.

I am glad to know that the 055MF3 supports that lens and head. I join it with a Jobu HD Gimbal and use my Manfrotto 3221 Mountaineer which is quite heavy. I have the 055 and I will pair it with the 500 and save may back!

Thanks!

The 055MF3 is light yet strong enough to support your 500 and Gymbal, I have had no problems with it.
