I've ordered my studio lights and I'm looking for a background stand.....there's a few on ebay...but could some one recommned a sturdy make ? I don't want to by a flimsy stand and find I have to replace it...

Alein Bees and Impact make some very good, inexpensive background light stands.

It's very sturdy and in my opinion it's worth the money

As a matter of interest if you're looking for a wall mounted option try this guy

I've just bought a set (have'nt used them yet)
and they seem really good for the money, very sturdy. They seem to be the same as the Manfrotto system but at a fraction of the cost.

i have bought one of those cheap ones of ebay ...they work fine for me ...it is just a backdrop stand .. hard to go wrong with that i guess
