I'd love one,.. but they are suddenly discontinued, and the price shot waaaaaaaaay up fro any ones you can find, even used :(
( they were going fro $100.00 bucks @ New egg just before they dropped off the face of the earth, now people are getting twice that)

I am praying that Gigabyte is poised for a 2nd edition (capable of 8GB and SATA300) but somehow I doubt it. :(

Also at the price we are willing to pay for the RAmdisk, then we can not rule out faster hard drives than the Raptors,. ie: SCSI 15K drives..
Some Mobos still come with SCSI ports and of course the cards are out there. But still pretty pricey for not a whole lot faster than the Raptor.
