Just purchased a 430ex flash from B&H.
When I push the shutter button half way down to focus, it makes this buzzing sound. Also when I zoom in or out.
Should I contact B&H to send a replacement or what?

Automatic powerzoom actually is not part of E-TTL. Autozoom flash units have been around quite a few years, and the autozoom function will work even in manual flash mode.
