Hello all

This is a followup to a recent post, called "I know: Great Blue Heron pics are posted often"; lately I have found myself being interested in "Behavioral themes", short pictorial stories; or whatever you want to call them.

Here is an attempt to portray some more Great Blue Heron behavior.

Nice behavioral series. I really like five and six with the catch. Nice focus on both bird and catch! Well done.

How far away were you from the heron?? Great series....very enjoyable and perfectly framed.....

Very nice series of photos. I appreciate your thoughts on behavioral, and environmental shots. I find it's much nicer to see a subject reacting to or participating with it's habitat rather than a portrait with studio feel and over PS.... I am partial to number five with the muddy fish and the muddy feet.
