Pulled over on my way east and found a road to nowhere. This took a lot of PP to make the colors interesting. I'm not an accomplished landscape photog so any help would be great. CC please.

comp looks good. Depth of image works. Contrast is okay. Horizon line is in right place and level. I'd put it in a frame on my wall.

I would have loved some good clouds and in this case and a 4pm sun. I took this at about 11am and wasn't willing to wait.

I like this picture too. Well composed. The only thing that keeps drawing my attention is that house on the mid left of the pic. Other than that great shot.

The road draws you into the image - nice. The horizon is centered, I would suggest showing a little less sky since it does not have any clouds or other interesting things. just my two cents............

I love it! I used to live in Visalia and did a lot of cycling up in the foothills. Many roads I travelled looked just like that. You did a great job to bring things out. As i recall, there usually aren't many clouds and often it's just hazy which makes for real burn out skys. Did a lot of photography, myself, up in those hills when I was taking a photo course at Visalia Community College.
Cheers,
Bruce

I like this! Very nice. I love the composition, how you've got the dark fence lining the road, and the road opens up from the viewer's point and draws you in, very nice.

I live in Michigan but I was on a cross country trip. I saw about 15 national parks but this was one of my favorite pictures, taken near Colusa, CA after I dropped out of the mountains going East.

Not too close to Visalia but the same idea I'm sure.
