This may get moved if I've posted in the wrong place, if so sorry! :(

I'm looking for any suggestions for best buy 3G cards. Used mainly in the midlands but possibly NW & NE of England. Mainly used for uploading images from pitchside. Just been looking at Vodaphones 3g braodband modem

Any helpful suggestions greatfully received :D

I'd have to second the Vodafone 3G card, the coverage is excellent. I used the O2 one for a while about a year ago, having got a good deal in conjunction with my phone contract, but it was very poor in comparison, and having seen most guys using Vodafone, it became clear they were the best. I now have the newer USB version, and the speed and ease of use is incredible...well worth it!

I looked at the options recently and Vodafone was the cheapest and had the best reviews and coverage.

Thanks guys.
I've just located the above 250mb free at £25 +vat per month. As I'm just starting shooting soccer again after a very long gap quite alot of this is new and had to research quite a bit. Think I'm now all set and hopefully first job next weekend somewhere in the Championship. Hopefully now I can hit the ground running. :)

Best of luck Graham, are you submitting pitchside during the game or after?

Also who are you covering? I'll keep an eye out for some pictures.

Thanks Darren.
Not sure where I'll be yet. Will be submitting half time & full time unless I get anything I think is good! I was offered a couple of games already but have to sort out the 3G card first then ready.

I could be at Leicester/Birmingham/Coventry/Derby etc or further north. Just look out for some bumbling newcomer who does yet know the rules! :D

Graham,

Ditto everything Simon (Statcas) said, Vodafone is the one to go for.

I got your last email, the 'deal' you spoke of is about par for the course ;)

Hope all goes well for you, keep us posted :)

Yep I found that same deal. Problem is they couldnt deliver next day as quoted on their website. I contacted Vodafone directly and just about got the same deal albeit via first 3 months at half price (pays to haggle  ). Guaranteed next day delivery too :) .

Thanks Marc. Looks like I'm going to give that 300mm a hammering next week! :D

PS Anyone got a Canon 300mm rain cover for sale? :)
