This is exactly why I bought the 17-55 2.8 IS. For handheld indoor low light shots, no other zoom I've tried compares. I'm stoked. This is straight off the card, just resized. ISO800, probably could've knocked it down a bit too.

She seemed to be having a good time. My only complaint, and it is minor, is that her glasses were slightly cut off. Other than that I think it is a great photo. You captured her emotion well.

Looks like a great shot to me also. It also shows (assumes) that there's a party going on by the expression on her face and the hats.

Thanks for the comments! Yeah this shot was actually one of those that I just held up the camera at arms's length as she ran through the doorway laughing. Had no idea how it was gonna come out :)
