With the right adapter cords, you can use them anywhere, connected to anything. One transmitter and receiver will set you back around $370. There are much cheaper systems available via E-Bay, if you're prepared to deal with the occasional headache. You may want to read Lotto's review of the 16-channel set in the stickies. Even if i have 3 strobes, all you need is ONE transmitter and ONE receiver.... OK as long as there is nobody else near with an on-camera flash. This will then fire your heads and possibly mess up your shots. If you're likely to be anywhere where other photog's might be (at an event, for instance) you will need a receiver for each head. 1DsMkIII | 1DMkIIN | 70-200 f/2.8L IS | 24-70 f/2.8L | 24-105 f/4L IS | 17-40 f/4L | 50 f/1.2L | WFT-E1 & E2 Transmitters - Click Here for setup advice | CP-E4 Battery Pack x 2 | ST-E2 | 580EX | 550EX | 430EXII | 420EX | Tripod + monopod | Bowens Esprit Gemini 500W/s heads & Travel-Pak | All this gear - and still no idea
