powershop s3 is probs

hi all a newbie here , ive had my powershot for a while now , and plugged it into my computer this morning and it would not connect , can anyone help me out it been fine until now , im running xp and ive got all the zoom browser updates

There may be a problem with the Canon Camera connection service not running on your PC. If you run Zoombrowser and click on connect to camera and the buttons close up immediately with nothing having happened then you need to change the settings for that service. I believe this was covered in another thread in this forum.

There's no such thing as a bad photo, just the wrong audience.
EQUIPMENT: Canon Powershot S3 IS, 2x Transcend 2GB x150 SD, 2x 4GB Class 4 Dane-Elec SDHC, LensMate 52mm Adapter Tube and lots of stuff to hang on it.
A couple of flashes and a couple of strobes. My other camera is a Sony DSC-P200.

check the cable as well, on my work nikon cameras, we go through cables like crazy
