Ok so you named this stunts. Are these shot stunts or is that one heck of a wreck that you took a picture of? Either way those are awesome, wish i had one that good of the end of Daytona. Great Job.

After my initial post I've looked closer at these shots and notice a total lack of crowd or safety gear on the pit crew. I've also spotted the film camera on the flat bed truck in the 3rd shot (how could I miss it before!!) and the strange cloud of smoke in the final shot.

What was being filmed when you shot these?

I'm such a geek... The thing that gave away the shots' status as ringers to me was the "Winston Cup" sign in the background of the second shot. Winston haven't sponsored the series in (at least three) years.

Love the last shot though, it's excellent.

They are obviously from a movie. You can tell that it is not a newer NASCAR shot. The pit crew isn't wearing helmets that are now required by NASCAR, but the cars are new. One is even advertising the Chevrolet Aveo. I'd be interested in hearing what's behind this movie.

NYCGrip, do you like working with the JimJibs?

Jim Stanton, the creator of those, is a good friend of mine.
