ok no big deal but ive only just started to birdwatch and this is the first lapwing ive seen to date..sad but i live in a town lol

Looks Great, was going to say it would have looked better from a front on view, but yours shows good detail in the feathers, nice focus, looks like u used about f8 or above with the DOF........ BTW I come from Derby, although I carn't remember much (was young when moved to Australia)....... keep the shots coming.

thanks richard the blighter wouldnt turn around .lol i was stuck in my car as this was taken at knowsley safari pk ..well u cant have everything

Nice capture. I always say take the picture (to add to your collection) even if it's not the greatest situation. You may not get another chance for a long time.
