EDIT: Parameters? Here they are: Good old 8 hour work day. How many hours out of one of those do you spend on POTN?

Specifically, how much time do you waste at work per day when you are supposed to be doing something you are getting paid for? I will be the first to admit that I could spend more time on important things rather than looking at what is in everybodies camera bag! Let me know!

The poll is meaningless without a timeframe.

I guess I figure it will die before a timeframe is reached!

I just assumed it was per day & then moved on

In that case, I noted in my post as "per day"!

Ho much time at work? Well, I work from home and I do most of my work at a computer and I remain logged in. I bounce back and forth when I choose, some days more than others.
A poll llike this really needs a clearer set of parameters.

I mostly read this forum (as well as a football forum) while I'm waiting on my computer. I am a design engineer and some of my larger 3D solid models can take 5 to 10 minutes to load or unload. I also will read the forum over lunch if I eat in my office or if I have time left when I get back from lunch. I won't say it never happens, but I do try to limit wasting the company's time.

I spend too long on Potn in both my work time and my "my" time... I voted 2-4 hours, but that is just work time..

Prior to a week or so ago, very little, but since deciding to get active here, a lot  I'm a stay at home dad now, who's also trying to be a photographer. Not easy with a two year old though!! Back when I had an office job, I spent WAY too much time on various forums. Spent most of my time reviewing documents, or writing them, and just kept the forums in tabs. Seems like I'm distracted more at home than I ever was at work

Well there is a posts per day type thing, which can give some idea who's obsessed.
Varies by how soon my school papers are due. The sooner they are due, the more hours I spend. It's a positive correlation!!

Since my job has become global and I now work 18 hours a day, though much from home, I have come to keep a POTN window open and bop in whenever there is a lull for a break. It helps contribute to my sanity.
