heck! That could be a gift! People could rent out your services for threads that they wanted to die :) I say, if you excel in an area, most definitely market it

LOL... Great idea. I could be like Oscar the Sharkslayer in "Shark Tale".

Forky, the Threadslayer! Forky, boom mah yeah! Forky, boom mah yeah!
(disclaimer: if you have no clue what I'm talking about, http://www.amazon.com …-Will-Smith/dp/B0006JMLRK (external link)) it's a great flick!

Could be like Col. Cargill from Catch-22: He was such a terrible executive companies would pay him lots of money to come in and fail miserably to establish losses for tax purposes.

You can do that for threads. Someone have a thread that is just to succesful and wont quit? Call in Forky!

Biggest probably is that if you want the title, it wont happen, especially if your saying things for the purpose of acquiring a title. I'm sure they're exceptions to that rule but you get the general idea. The best way would be just to forget about it completely. Then when you least suspect it the title fairy will come and bestow upon you a title you craved but now wish you never had :p

Unfortunately for myself (maybe fortunate?) I usually think out posts before making them or even editing them. Unless I get really invested into a thread I doubt I could do something title worthy, assuming I did it would probably something I'd rather not get reminded of. Could be like The Duke of Mediocrity or something boring.

hmm this goes against what I said, duke of mediocrity is kinda cool :p

I agree with Vitruvius, you may not get a title just because you are typing stuff randomly....however, if you hear the faint flutter of little fairy wings...that is your cue to DUCK and COVER!

lol... yeah, I am pretty much kidding around with all this title stuff anyway. But you two are right regardless. I'll forget all about this stuff and post somewhere that I like chicken fingers, and then poof... I'll be the "Earl of Chicken Fingers" or something stupid like that. It's all in fun though.

Well, you got the Title Fairy's battle plan right 'cause that is exactly what he/she does.

I for one hope to get to your level of post count without a change of title....if I do receive one beforehand I just hope it will not be too embarrassing.

I noticed Vitruvius has managed a custom title with 86 or less posts. I just got hit in this thread after about 180 posts:
https://photography-on-the.net …hp?p=3459713&postcount=31

What is the lowest post count anyone have managed to cross the title fairys path?

I would say that it takes a lot of personality to manage on the first post ;)
