Ok so i for one will be sticking with the MKII N but what is the best price you have seen the MKIII for in the UK?

Not to sure about these people as i have only brought camera gear from Warehouse Express myself but so far this is the cheapest price i have seen.

£2499.99 including the dreaded VAT.

Might be worth a look if you want one but check them out first so as to make sure it is above board there is an address and contact number on there home page.

They're a local dealer to me and although i haven't used them (yet) i know people that have.

Totally above board and if i decide to go for a MK3 over a cheap(er) MK2 they'll be getting my business.

You're welcome :)

If you look through some of Simon Harrison's posts (mostly in Motorsport) he's an RGB customer. IIRC he got his Sigma 120-300 from them.

I certainly did, and have used them in the past for other large ticket items. Like Geoff they are my local dealer. Give them a ring and ask to speak to either Graeme (owner), Gareth, Michael or Dan and you'll get straight, no nonsense advice, at least that is my experience.

They also have an excellent pro printing service. You want to speak to either Graeme or Emma at RGB about that.

Cheers,

Simon.

Not sure if Bristol Camera's have advertised a price yet, but I find these to be the cheapest shop / web supplier so far

I don't think any place can reliably give a price for the mkIII yet....best off waiting until it's actually available before shopping around.

Think that if you have paid the deposit and the price is advertised you have a legal contract to have the goods supplied at the advertised price.

I would make a killing at work otherwise as i would advertise everything in the paper for £1000 pound less then once i had collected the deposit stick the price up by £2000 and then i could buy the complete Canon range in a couple of months.

When the 30D was announce RGB advertised the lowest price in the UK by some margin , I rang the and chatted to Greaham to confirm the price etc and true to their word they delivered me (and others here) one of the first 30d cameras and at the very low advertised price .

Having said the above ,and as Zilly has pointed out rgb =£2499.99 warehouse express = £3049 - 125% of the difference.

Just spoke to michael and he has confirmed the price is as advertised and that they may have them in stock in as little as 2 weeks.

Also take a look at the following price comparison site which has a couple of delaers listed already:
http://www.camerapricebuster.com/Canon_EOS_1D_Mark_III_pc.html (external link)

But both on at £3029+ so the RGB price seems very competitive..
