This is basically the same group from the Folking Revolution show I shot on 2/22. Several of these guys used to be in a band called Lo Automatic (Lee Miles' band and a local alt-country/folk supergroup of sorts), but they're now doing different things.

Lighting (and space) was a bit of an issue for this one as you can probably tell, and as such this post is brought to you in part by the fine folks at Imagnomic Noiseware Professional. These images are linked from zenfolio resizes, and I think the exif gets lost in the resize process, but if you're interested you can see the exif by looking at the images on my zenfolio (external link) and scrolling your mouse over the top right corner of the image.

4. Almost a Lo Automatic reunion (Jon, Lee, James [Longsleeves], and Kyle). Unfortunately Lee is behind the mic, but this was still my favorite shot of the sequence.

I like these for the same reasons I liked the other set but think you need to be more sensitive to your backgrounds and not have individuals split up the middle as in your first two.

What, you don't like the trampoline and the computer? I did struggle a bit with composition here as I was using primes and I was pretty much parked in one spot at a time for each set (due to other people in the room and the lack of space). None of these are cropped, but maybe I should have shot wider in a few and cropped in post. That light in the corner back there was certainly a problem too.

Here are a couple tries at cropping. 1st one to try to improve comp (not sure if it helps any). 2nd one to get rid of some of the bg.
