You really should sell that 120-300 Glenn, it's an awful lens ;)

The colours on #1 are lovely. You can't beat a bit of sunshine in the right place. Also nice to see that Mutant Pug up & about again...until the MSA ban it

Cheers Dave!

Geoff, I'll hang onto the 120-300mm a little while longer. I fear it will be my (painful) duty to test it on a Mark III on behalf of the forum. It's a tough job but someone has to do it ;)

I was on the list with WarehouseExpress as of about 6pm last Thursday. Sometime before they had it on the web site (sad or what)

Then I fear it would be my duty to give a second, third or whatever opinion. It's just my unlucky lot in life I am afraid :(

Very nice as ever :) I notice your selection here has very clean backgrounds - no spectators / marshalls in bright jackets - good stuff!

Superb Glenn. The lighting on #1 and #4 is just great. Nice to be able to see the crews in each car hard at work as well.

I think that this is the fourth or fifth Sunseeker thread I've commented on, and each one has contained different shots, even if they were shot from similar locations. It is really good to see how everyone interprets the event, and as such I am always really pleased to see multiple threads from a single event.

Cheers,

Simon.

As everyone knows, my purchase of the 120-300 was purely on impulse. There was definately not months of deliberation and making a nuisance of myself asking lots of questions to certain forum members, and I definately did not borrow an example of the lens off more than one forum member to try it out before buying, just as I haven't tried anyones 2X TC yet, which will be my next impulse buy  .

30 - 15 ;)

PS I'm only jealous:p  .

Cheers,

Simon.

Thanks Az. We were lucky enough to find a stretch with very few spectators and soem good angles for the afternoon stage. Nor were there any marshals about. I think that was something that paid off in our strategy of being on-stage a couple of hours before it was due to run. We had plenty of time to find good locations.
