Nice tip DD, tnx.
Still i read some1`s post that he made real black background by useing PS (curves and burn tool... something like that) so i was thinkig is some1 can explain step by step how?

With the image that you posted, it would take some PS genius to get it blackety black. I know I couldn't, but that is not saying much. Levels can take an image where the background is close to black and get it nice and black, but I don't think that it would work with your shot. The biggest problem is the white reflection mixing with your black and making gray. You could get it closer to black without the glass, and add in a fake reflection, but those look cheesy.

It is much easier to get it close in the camera, and finish it off in PS than to try and do almost all of the work in PS.

I can't help you with the PS part, like I said, I suck at that. Maybe someone else here can. You may be best to post the shot and question in the post-processing section, there's some PS geniuses in there!

My First Attempt Stinks

Finally built one myself. I was very VERY disappointed with the results. There were MANY bad shots. These were the best ones unfortunately. Will post more later and will hope to improve. Yet another learning curve begins. Any advice would be great. I'll post my setup later as well. Thanks. :(

...Americans

1. No problem. The U. N. will protect you. ;)
2. Ask your neighbors, the Swedes, what they have in their closets.
3. There is a provision in the FORUM RULES about political comments.
So I may have to give myself a "time out".

How About Some More AMERICAN Photos?

Anyway, here's my AMERICAN setup. (I happen to be a moderate Democrat and I think that firearms are inherently bad.)

And here's a few more shots. Maybe they're a little better than the last ones? Okay, maybe not. It seems like they always come out soft in RAW mode and I have to add lots of sharpening. And using the flash causes images to look really hazy, especially around the edges of the object. This takes so much trial and error. You could literally be up until MIDNIGHT trying to get it right and I'm getting really bored of this.

So the moderator reminds the posters on this thread about the FORUM RULES regarding political comments. (Political discussions and promotion of political agendas or ideas in posts, signatures, images or avatars is prohibited.) And you just couldn't resist.
