Finally got a decent sized piece of paper, forgot to do the custom white balance thing, so going to give that a try tonight and see how it comes out. These are the Home Depot 23W (I think) Daylight CFL Bulbs. OT: you remember when these where gonna be the next big thing then came mp3 players and the ipod and crushed them (400.00 later thanks sony) Great shot I like your set up. so your set up cost what around $20.00 thats fantastic. Same photo, adjusted exposure, shadows, highlights, USM and sharpened.

Here's a sample:  For the record: not using flash...And I've actually been overexposing about a stop, at least in my best photos. I've been setting the WB in-camera by taking a shot of the box with the lights on...
