Are you using the paper between your lights and the box to diffuse the light a little? It looks like direct light coming in on both sides. Also the right side looks more yellow. Are you using same light sources?

Hey guys, so I basically recreated the OP suggestion for a light box.

Here is a quick look at the result. All I did was crop, no other PP.

Some one help me.....:(

I'm trying to figure this out.

Yea, I have paper...

I'll put up a pic of the box in a sec.

Only spent like 5 seconds on it but here's it a bit adjusted. Exposed it a bit to get the white to shine after a WB adjustment and so the black was black increased...black. Then just played so everything showed and sharpened it.

Thanks. I forget that L lenses aren't actually white so my WB affected the noise trying to get the lens white and not just the background. Oops.

That is one of my problems.

I was using a black flexible lamp (which is pretty powerful) that I got with my artist desk, and on the other side two flash light. So I don't have any decent lighting.

And as far as the white balance goes, It says manual. I was having problems trying to figure out the right white balance.

(edit: Any help on the procedure of using light boxes, white balance, etc. would be a great help. I'm on spring break, so I have a week of nothing to do, and really want to learn how to use light boxes.)

Pickup three of the silver domed clip lights that you can add your own bulb. You can get them at Wal-Mart for about 7 bucks. Then get the bright white 100w or 150w bulbs. That should solve your issue. Gotta use the same light source.

OK, I'll grab some either today or tomorrow.

The third one can either go directly on top or to the front, I've found it helps even out and top and will reflect light from the back so you don't get harsh shadows.
