Hi All,

I am looking into ring flash for my two macro lenses: Sigma 150mm and Sigma 50mm. I was thinking about the Sigma EM 140 Ring Flash. Please let me know what you think about this flash or a similar product that you may have used.

My second question is about the weight of the flash when mounted on the protruding barrel of lenses such as Sigma 50 / 70 / 105 or Tamron 90, etc. It just seems like a bad idea to place weight on such parts. Um... What do you think? (Sorry, but that's the best way I could think of wording my question. Hope you don't mind. )

Thanks,
Erez

I have the same question, anyone here have used this flash, how is it compared to canon ring flash?

I have this unit and it does a fabulous job. It's not too heavy on the front end, so don't worry about that. I also use it with my 200 f/2.8L and tubes with the 72mm ring adapter that I bought separately.

"Raw" is not an acronym, abbreviation, nor a proper noun; thus, it should not be in capital letters.
