Ah well... if he was worried about people getting in his way, he shouldn't has stood so far away from the stage.

Nice set of shots Dave, really like the one on your site of Burton in the Peugeot IMG 0265, those Freelanders did sound a bit mental especially with them being automatics, I don't know why M Sport built them like that although it may have been to save the delicate wrc drivers we have now, I mean it must be really tiring having to change gear when they are doing the recee ;)

Cheers
Ian

Your threads are as amusing as ever Dave  :p .

Great selection of shots, which I think really sum up the mood and atmosphere of the rally - you can't beat a bacon butty early in the forest first thing in the morning while waiting for cars to arrive :D .

I really like #1 - I've tried to get that sort of shot before and failed spectacularly, but I think yours works really well.

Look forward to more of your threads as the season gets underway properly ;) .

Cheers,

Simon.

:p hehe I like keeping people amused...it keeps me amused

I didn't know if the first one would work really as I wasn't that close, but sometimes not so close works better if you know what I mean

Cheers Geoff...I didn't go anywhere or lose my funny, don't worry about that...I've been lurking in the other forums while the season was waiting to start.

I have a whole new slant on things now I can actually bloody see them!

It's Beer O'Clock, catch you all later and cheers for the lovely praise, my head is expanding as I type!

Dave, your posts make me smile and cheer me up when work sucks, lol!

Love this one; "Steve Perez in his Focus WRC. Sun: Gone". For me it's the pic of the bunch. Lighting to me looked good when the sun was out :)

Yeah it was ok in places, tricky under the canopy though with shafts of light beaming through the trees.

Yo Rallye Photographers/camera men are the craziest people on earth, you guys stand like 20 feet(if that) by the edge of the road with 3,000lb rallye cars flyby over 50mph, NUTS... Ive seen some of those video where the camera guy almost get hits tons of times so be careful out there. Awesome pics by the way keep them pics coming
