I recently purchased the 5D with the battery grip and I'm interesting in getting advise on a good bracket. In the past, I purchased the Stroboframe Pro-T for my EOS20D and didn't like it very much.

What are your thoughts?

Thanks,
Mitch:confused:

find one that rotates the camera and not the flash, most brackets are made so you have to turn the camera clockwise to use it, which makes the vertical shutter release completely worthless.

Custom Brackets makes a fine rotation bracket. Currently on the B&H specials catalog with order codes psjan07112 and psjan07113. I use the QRS35H model which is similar to the QRSE2 with my 5D and grip and like it fine. You also have to buy a camera mounting plate and a flash mounting plate in addition to the bracket, so it get kinda pricy by the time your done.

The Custom Brackets are really popular, however, I would recommend brackets by Really Right Stuff http://www.reallyrightstuff.com/flash/ (external link). The are more versatile in my opinion.
