My Manfrotto 3021 tripod has a broken leg clamp on one of the legs. It makes it nearly impossible to adjust the leg height without prying it open using a screwdriver. Does anyone know if this is fixable or am I just stuck with it?

It makes it nearly impossible to adjust the leg height without prying it open using a screwdriver. Does anyone know if this is fixable or am I just stuck with it? Been there, done that, same tripod. I actually had two Bogen tripods with broken parts. I contacted the Bogen parts center and they e-mailed me the parts diagram for the tripod. I was able to use this to determine which part I needed and I contacted them by phone to order the part (mine had a broken leg clamp lever). It took quite a while to get because the part was back-ordered, but I finally got it. Since I had to replace the lever anyway, I took the opportunity to completely disassemble the tripod and clean and lubricate all the parts. The diagram helped immensely in this. When I got the tripod back together, it worked just like new. John
