Hi all,

Apparently there was a rally in the south of England this weekend...! These are my first posted photos, hopefully will all go ok. It was very gloomy for most of the day and rained for a while, definately not the best light. C&C welcome.

Thanks Dave, it was bit unexpected!

Looking at everyone else's photos it seems a slightly faster shutter speed gives a better effect, I'll give that a try it next time.

When I checked in from work during the week the colours in my photos looked a bit off to what I remembered. Now that I've checked the originals against this thread on my monitor, there's a noticeable difference in colour. Can anyone recommend somewhere to host photos that won't do any auto-levels or recompression or whatever Flickr's done to these photos?

Thanks,

Chris

Quite a few of us use Fotopic (external link). You get 250MB for free with some fairly powerful gallery management facilities.

Check their help (external link) page for how to link to your photos on a forum. Makes it easy to size your photos to a forum-friendly 800px wide, no matter what size you post them at in the gallery.

Kevin.

It's all about the talent, not the equipment!

Canon 40D, 20D and G3. Sigma 100-300 F4 EX, Canon 17-85 IS, 18-55 "kit lens" and a 28-105 which I've had forever.
