These are not the greatest pics, but they amused me 
I'd been shooting most of the day on manual exposure, but the light was fading fast at the final stage so I switched to Av mode. I instantly forgot I'd changed it, so instead of taking a series of panning shots at 1/200, I accidentally ended up with slower and slower speeds...
OK at 1/200:

At 1/50, then 1/40, you get a real sense of speed...

I think it's interesting on the later ones (especially the fifth one) that the front/rear of the car are soft yet the windscreen is sharp. I'm thinking it's probably motion blur not DOF (28mm at f/7.1 on a 400D), as the car pivots to slide round the corner.
I need to re-do these, I think. They have been (too) quickly processed from RAW, and I've gone a bit mad with the black point settings.
Anyway, it's not what I was intending, but a fun effect...
