No they don't offer FF but all their cameras are 1.5x crop so you don't have to say is that 1.6, 1.3, 1.5 or 1x crop?

...I have a Nikon Coolpix I can ship to you. BTW, the shutter lag time between shots compares favorably with the time it takes to ship from me (West Coast) to you...

 That's half the reason I dumped my coolpix 990. I was able to get some great shots immediately after something happened.

That's the same for all compacts - even my Canon S1 IS.

I have a dusty old Nikon P&S film camera I could send you so you can maintain your membership. It probably isn't near as noisy as their DSLR's.

oOOOH! I think we have one of those somewhere... I wonder if binoculars qualify as photography equipment... Hmm....

Not that I'm even considering signing up there...

Lord, I think you need to post your address. Your home could become a Nikon museum. Then let them try to kick you out!

I'm still going to lurk there. I just love reading through some of the threads there. I think I'll buy a Nikon neckstrap so that I can fit in. Or I can just lie and say I have an old Nikon film SLR so they'll leave me alone. lol

I was playing nice! I think..

Seriously, would a Nikon film camera qualify you as membership or it has to be DSLR?

That would have to be one exclusive club to kick you out because you shoot Nikon film instead of Nikon digital!

So sad they act like that. If you hadn't 'fessed up they'd have to take your word for it that you really do have Nikon gear. Lots of people in denial on that thread too. Not that there aren't plenty of those here too. :)

Even so that's a sad requirement to post on a website. I'm surprised they aren't more thorough in their signup process - requiring you to send them a photo of your Nikon gear before you even get a confirmation email.

But no loss. The color scheme hurt my eyes anyway.

Did you lose Digital Photo Professional (DPP)? Get it here (external link). Cursing at your worse-than-a-map reflector? Check out this vid! (external link)

I'd send them pictures of Nikon gear at the store taken with my Canon.

4.2. Anyone who owns or plans to buy Nikon photography equipment may register at Nikonians, i.e. if you do not own and do not plan to buy Nikon equipment, you must not register.

That's just sad! Their right, and their loss. There are many interesting discussions around here based on the perspective of different "photographers." I'm glad this forum isn't exclusive (but I am glad it's Canon centric). :)

I have a Nikon film P&S (actually belongs to my wife, and we never use it), a Nikon negative scanner and an El-Nikkor lens for my Beseler enlarger. Does that mean I can join? :)

I'm sure it does. Would you want to? :)
