Dude, I don't see it. Checked all 3 discovery channels from now until the 3rd, at any time, and no combat zone. I checked the military channel, and there's two combat zone episodes, and both are in iraq, but not tal afar. What's up, fella? Don't see it.
Are you using the program guide on TV? Don't trust it. I was told by Vantage Point (the production studio) that the show would air in early Feb on the Military Channel (I think it was 12 Feb), and again on the Discovery Channel on 3 March. An old platoon mate of mine called me the weekend before the original air date to inform me that he got word it would be on schedule for that following Monday (12 Feb I think). I checked to program guide on TV and didn't see it listed until the following week (19 Feb), and concluded that he was mistaken. So I ended up not checking for it when it originally aired and I missed it.
Now I've been told (and the Discovery Channel web stie confirms this) that it will premier on 3 March at 9:00 ET. Again, checking the program guide on TV, I don't see it listed. It's not even consistent with what the program guide lists on the web site! But the link I posted above says otherwise.
I think the Military Channel and the Discovery Channel have problems with updating their scheduled programming on the satellite TV program guide, so I no longer trust what the TV program guide says.
Bottom line, even though you're not seeing it now, doesn't mean it won't air. Come Saturday night just pull up a chair, grab a nice hot cup of joe and enjoy the show.
