You might want to rephrase that.
Its not totaly clear if you want all sigma 17-70 owners to click yes, and then only those with a problem to post, of you if you want those who own the lens and have a problem to answer the poll with yes, and those who own the lens, and don't have a problem to answer the poll with no.

Basicly, are you polling owners or surveying forum members, or both?

I happen to own the 17-70 and consider it a wonderful lens.

So long and thanks for all the flash

Same here I've got the Sigma 17-70mm and have absolutely no problems with it, it's optically wonderful, well built, focuses pretty quickly, comes with a hood.

For me the other choice was the kit lens, so it was a no brainer :D :D

I have the 17-70 and have no issues with it. For the $ I consider it a great value. I can obviosuly tell the difference when I switch to my Canon 70-200mm 2.8L. But I am pleased with the Sigma.

I have one and yes it backfocuses but i always use it in MF anyway so its not a huge issue for me. A brilliant lens overall.

No problem with mine. VERY VERY Sharp. I used a Canon 24-70 2.8L at the stored with my camera. Compare the sharpest to my sigma. Not to much of a difference. The contrast on the 24-70L was better tho, but sharpness is about the same.

Current: Canon 40D w/BG-E2N, Canon 30D, Canon 10-22mm, Canon 17-55mm 2.8 IS w/EW-83J, Canon 70-200mm 2.8L IS, Canon 580EX II, Crumpler 6 Million Bag, and B+W MRC on all my glass.
