Like how much backfocus do you need to call it a focusing issue, or does it have to be 100% accurate? There are some users here who have it 2-4mm OOF. Also, like gcogger mentioned, what if the first copy was bad and second copy was perfect? I'd like to consider both scenarios focusing issues in my book. the point is just because you had 2 bad copies does not make the 17-70 a bad lens period! you can analyze this poll however you want just wanting you to see the good to bad ratio of this lens.
