I'm sure this has been asked plenty of time but here it goes.
I need one of my digital cameras (S3 IS, Nikon Coolpix L1 & L6, or Olympus D-560) to be recognized on a tablet pc as a webcam. Some new software made by our company is working to take a webcam video and allow you to snap stills from it. It works great with some logitech webcams I've tested it with, but the picture quality is nil. I tried using PSRemote on my S3, and could get the live viewfinder to work through the USB, but couldn't figure out how to make the software recognize it as a webcam. Sorry if this is a bit vague, I didn't write the software and tech support doesn't have any information for me other than "Wait for the newest camera to come out" which may be another year before they're ready to use and I'd rather use one now if possible to save me countless hours of work.
Thanks for any advice or suggestions.
