B&W Conversion - 1st Attempt

I've been inspired to try a conversion to B&W by other postings in this section. Had some trouble with the door. It was quite dark so hard to get the detail to show (at least for me). I think some sharpness was lost saving for web. C & C most welcome

I think this is a very appealing photo. You have managed to retain detail in the door and there is a lot of character in the wall, door arch and the steps.
