No more free ride at Costco!

Well, the party's over for returns at Costco. All electronics (cameras too) now only have a 90 day return. Everything else is still unconditional, but I guess too many people were abusing the return on electronics.

although I have never dealt with them, it does make since and 90 days is still very generous on returns.

I've never seen more than 14-30 days return anywhere else, so 90 is fantastic.


Mac users swear by their computers. PC users swear at theirs.

90 day return is still good, but not when you compare it to lifetime returns.

I'm glad they did. I know a person that went to college, bought a printer and a few other things at the beginning of each year and then returned them when school got out for the summer. I gave him hell for his lack of ethics and he didn't give a damn. I bet camera folks abused the hell out of it too (minority of folks). Hopefully, this will save Costco enough to lower prices even more.
