Does anyone other than Canon or Sigma make an ETTL compatable flash that can be used as a master and/or a slave? I'm looking for something more powerful than the EX580.

I am not sure about your budget, but have you looked at Quantum's Qflash 5d (external link)

Metz makes a more powerful unit, too, the 76MZ. But I don't think that they have one directly compatible with Canon wireless...you would need a Metz as master and a Metz as slave using Metz wireless. But that might have recently changed, as Metz introducted the 58AF1 which is directly Canon wireless compatible (but the same power as the Canon 580EX)

Canon dSLR system, Olympus OM 35mm system, Bronica ETRSi 645 system, Horseman LS 4x5 system, Metz flashes, Dynalite studio lighting, and too many accessories to mention

Nice, but surely out of reach since I'm getting a 1D Mk3 when they come out. Maybe then I could sell my 20D to help, I really will not need it.
