well i think i found the secret to green heron shots, and that is skip 400mm altogether and go strait to 600mm so they arnt so bothered by you.

between 5 and 10 feet (i actually had to keep backing up to fit the bird in the frame:lol: as he moved towards me)

What was the combination that you used Billy in these shots?

Excellent series with good quality shots.
