Congratulations,

I use the cu-300 vagabond all the time without grounding it, unless I am in a situation where I can and there is a possibility of a short. Concrete, bare floors, and similar surfaces in dry weather tend to not be a problem.

You should also ground it if you are in the habit of touching the connectors. Not recommended anyway. :)

This thread is not good for my wallet! I've been going back and forth between picking up a 85mm 1.8 for outdoor portraits this spring/summer and getting some AB. I wish I could do both right now!!! :) I just keep wondering what I would get most use out of!

Did you get the white lightning transmitters or the cheap-o ones?

Also how long did it take to ship...? did they ship it off the next/same day you ordered or did it take 2 days liek they said... i want my lights now :)

anways... congrats on your new lights and best of luckw ith them.. make some $$$
