RAAF Edinburgh have an Airshow in October. I am hoping we get a D&B on the day.
Strange though how the RAAF operate. If I stop outside the fence for a few shots after work the MPs will come running to check me out and ask me to move on. They dont like any unauthorised shots. But an open day/airshow is not a problem. Go figure.

Peter,

Yes you are right. They can't do anything to you as long as you are not inside the Military boundaries. I photographed the F-111 from outside the back gate at Amberley.
Mind you I spoke to the guard on the back gate first so they didn't go getting excited and feel the need to ring the MPs.
Probably pays to be female as well. Silly people. I worked as a Photographer in the RAAF for 16 years so I have had enough w%^#ers telling me what I can and can't do, such a pain in the A. Everyone is the Photo police these days, hey and not just in the Military either, imagine in your every day job if people just stopped by now and then to tell you what to do, wouldn't that just p you off.
If you try to please everyone, you might as well put your a camera away.

That feels better.

Tell them to go get ............

Cin

I know what you are saying. Hey we are the lucky ones. We don't have to put up with the Military mentality anymore. Silly thing is we should have got more respect as Military members, but did we...............

Hey for 16 years I had to pretend I was a bloke, just to keep the peace. Any time my femininity came out, I was questioned about it. Like having my hair out, or nails done.
I could go on.......... but I won't.

I am so happy now, I love being a female, I don't expect men to open doors etc for me, but you know what.............it is really appreciated when they do.

...and no I don't have them on my business card.
Why do you ask?

Doesn't hurt? And if someone looks, but doesn't buy that day, give them a card & maybe they'll buy from your site some other time.
