Canon PDF's

Canon makes available a wide variety of Books, Manuals, Brochures, Guides, White Papers, and Marketing Material in Adobe PDF format.

Unfortunatly these PDF's are spread across Canon Inc.'s vast web Empire.

Often they are located in little nooks and craneys, sometimes with broken links, or no longer available. (this seems espically true on canon's USA site, and the related Explorers of Light sub-site - broken links galore here!)

Often these PDF's are real gems.

I have collected a large ammount of these Canon PDF's and will share the links to them with you folks at POTN.

Some great links there, I've also archived on my home PC all the spec sheets and parts lists I have found in various places..

There is a sticky at the top of this forum All About Canon. Why don't you post them in that. This thread will eventually be off the first page. Some of them may already be covered in that post but there is nothing wrong with having them twice for good measure.

Good idea with the All About Canon. Feel free to use the compiled PDF listing for the stickie.

For now I would like to see if this thread evolves into a good listing of Canon PDF's or lacks intrest. I have quite a lot of PDF's so it will remain within a few pages of the front for awhile...

Hopefully others will post links as well.

It would be nice to find a permanent host for the PDF's since Canon often re-arranges its links....

EOS-1D Mark III White Paper Comprehensive 63-page document detailing system enhancements — and the technological developments behind them — to the EOS-1D Mark III.

I once saw a set of tables for lens depth of field. The DOF was tabulated for various combinations of subject distance and lens setting. I'm looking for one - don't know if it exists - for my EF 70-200 f/2.8L USM, which I bought 2nd hand and came with no doc's. A search here and on the 'net hasn't been successful. Maybe I'm not using the right keyword. Anyone know where I can find one?
