novice question on reflector bracket

okay so I see reflector brackets for sale, and I know the reflectors attach to this but where do the brackets secure to ?

Does one need a spare light stand or any special attachments?
I'm considering this (no big budget here)

any other recomendations are welcomed. I'll be working with a single AB800/Umbrella and white/Black/neutral gray back drop.

That one will work fine. You will need to get a light stand to mount it on and something to weigh the stand down with or it will tip over. I use these, but they can be a pain if there is any wind.
