Where specifically are the AF sensors located? I may try and clean them. I do a lot of manual focusing, but I'd like to be able to AF more times than not for some situations.

The other night in London I took a picture of a sundial inscribed in the pavement; it was so dark that I could hardly see the thing myself (ISO100, 30 secs @ f/8 I think) but the AF locked on just fine.
